Who We Are

AIPixKit is an independent project built and maintained by a solo developer based in Shanghai, China. I created this platform because I was frustrated with existing online image tools that required uploading sensitive files to unknown servers, charged subscription fees for basic features, or produced poor quality results.

As a developer who frequently works with images for web projects, e-commerce, and personal use, I needed tools that were fast, private, and completely free. When I couldn't find what I was looking for, I decided to build it myself.

What We Do

How It Works

When you use one of our tools, the image processing happens directly in your browser using modern web technologies:

  • WebAssembly — Runs high-performance image processing algorithms at near-native speed
  • TensorFlow.js — Powers our AI features (background removal, upscaling) with neural networks
  • Canvas API — Handles image manipulation, cropping, and format conversion
  • Tesseract.js — Provides OCR capabilities for text extraction in 20+ languages

The first time you use an AI feature, the model downloads to your browser (2-10MB). After that, everything works offline — no internet connection required for processing.
